ESCADA LAUNCHES “THE HEART” BAG

Inspired by the first fragrance bottle designed in the shape of a heart, today marks the launch of “The Heart” bag. The bag will evolve season on season making it a new accessories icon for the ESCADA brand.

“The Heart” bag is inspired by ESCADA’s first fragrance, which was called ESCADA by Margaretha Ley. The bottle, designed by Margaretha in 1990, is in the shape of a soft concentric heart motif. “The Heart” bag is designed in two sizes and comes in a variety of block colours in soft calf leather, as well as floral, multi-tonal tweeds and tartan jacquard fabrics that reflect the Fall Winter 2018 collection. Each one is adorned with the gold concentric heart motif.

A varied selection of accessories complements the Fall Winter 2018 collection, each with a focus on archival detail. Intricate gold ESCADA earrings inspire hardware across the more classic daywear leather goods, as well as belts. The broader leather goods range contains cleaner styles in suede and calf leather, in navy, red, brown and black combinations, with colour contrast piping. Jewel-toned velvet shoes are also adorned with bespoke heart-shaped fastenings, as well as heritage diamanté buckles. Colour block suede ankle boots are given a twist for evening with satin jewel-encrusted styles. Playful jewellery in multi-colour Perspex comes shaped in the iconic ESCADA heart
